Getting the word out

I'm not going to lie, Monday for the website definitely didn't happen. Uni-fied will be up and running as soon as we can get over a few issues!

Whilst we are ironing out a few creases, I am starting on marketing. This is the fun part, I get to talk to people about what Uni-fied does, and how we can help the move to University become that little easier.

Social media has become a big asset to companies over recent years. Sites such as Facebook, Blogger and Twitter have suddenly opened up the consumer market and allow marketing machines to focus on a demographic. Of course, Uni-fied is utilising these web technologies as we now have our own page, blog and Twitter.

The great benefit of social media to an organisation is that informal feedback can be gathered from their client base. Comments allow a product or service to improved much quicker than formal feedback methods such as a questionnaire.

Anyway, enough of my wittering. I shall be exploring different marketing avenues over the next few days and will be getting the word out about Uni-fied.

I will leave you with a fact and a link...

FACT: We can save our customers time, effort and space. All three will be valuable when it comes to 'moving day' to University!

LINK: Are you trying to decide between a page or group on Facebook for your business? Take a look at this blog, I found it very useful.
